On March 21, 2019, Air King America issued a recall that affected approximately 5,000 units of their wall-mounted range hoods in the country. These defective range hoods were sold nationwide through a variety of independent electrical supply distributors. The defective range hoods were also sold online via the Home Depot, Amazon, Build, and Lowe’s websites. The products were sold for approximately $550 from 2009 to 2018.
