There is a recall for approximately 26,830 units of STYLR Hair Stylers by Solexio. The recall, which was issued by the distributor, Lexmark Ventures LLC, is due to a problem with the cord on the hair stylers. If the styler is dropped, the cord can detach from the unit and cause an electrocution of electric shock injury. Models included in the recall can be identified by the following model numbers: 78T0100 and 78T0300 with date codes between 147 and 253 (middle 3 digits of the serial number, which start with 8081).
Consumers that own one of these stylers should stop using them right away and contact Solexio or Lexmark for a refund. However, those that have already suffered an injury should reach out to an experienced product recall lawyer to learn about their legal rights. If you are one of these individuals, you may be entitled to compensation from a product liability lawsuit. For more information, contact our office to schedule a free case review.
