Possible Injuries from an Overheated Air Fryer
Overheated air fryers are notorious for causing accidents in the kitchen. These accidents can cause a number of serious injuries and health complications, such as:
-
Burns
-
Skin damage, including permanent scars
-
Damage to the underlying tissue (dermis, hypodermis, muscles and nerves)
-
Complications from smoke inhalation – seizures, chest pain, problems breathing, rapid heartbeat, loss of consciousness, etc.
What to Do if after an Injury from a Defective Air Fryer
What you do right after your accident is crucial, as it will form the basis of a solid case against the manufacturer. To gather as much evidence as possible, follow the steps we’ve listed below:
-
Take pictures of any visible injuries with your phone or another electronic device. In addition, capture images of the accident scene, including the damaged product.
-
Get phone numbers and/or email addresses from anyone that witnessed your accident, so that your lawyer can contact them for witness statements.
-
Seek treatment from a medical center right away, even if your injuries don’t seem that serious. Keep in mind that you will need medical records to file an accident claim.
-
Notify Newair of the harm you’ve suffered, but say no if they offer you a credit or refund, or ask you to return the product.
-
Contact an experienced accident injury lawyer, who can help you initiate the legal process.
Is There a Class Action Lawsuit on this Case?

Then again, it may be beneficial to file a personal injury claim by yourself, which are all options that you can explore with one of our attorneys. Just give us a call and schedule a free case review to learn how you can seek damages from a recalled air fryer injury case.
