On June 23, 2022, Loctek issued a recall of 17,500 units of their Fleximounts Overhead Garage Storage Racks. The racks, model number GL44B, have U-shaped buckles that are connected to the cables securing the rack to the ceiling. There have been 18 reports so far of these buckles being defective, which can cause the unit to fall. These racks were sold from October 2020 to April 2022 through the following sellers:

- Homedepot.com
- Amazon.com
- Wayfair.com
- eBay.com
- Walmart.com
- Fleximounts.com
Customers are advised to unload all items form the rack immediately in order to prevent an accident.
