Details of the Recall
The recall of the mini charcoal grills involves the company Living Traditions and their grills. The black steel grills measure roughly 18 inches x 15 inches x 18.5 inches. There are multiple handles on the grill, one on the lid, and one on each side of the grill. Located on the front of the grill, a heat gauge, and a silver latch.
Remedy for Recall
Consumers who have purchased the Living Traditions charcoal mini grill should stop using the product immediately and return the grill to any of the Fred’s locations available and get a full refund of the purchase price.
Incidents
Thus far, there have been two reports of the grills igniting. The exterior paint of the mini charcoal grill ignites. There have been no injuries or property damage that have been reported.

Fred’s Stores located in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. They units were sold from January 2017 through June 2017 for approximately $22.
