Schneider Electric has issued a mass recall of their Square D QO Plug-on-Neutral Load Centers. Also known electrical panels and circuit breaker boxes, these load centers are prone to overheating and causing burns, as well as fire and smoke injuries. Approximately 1.4 million units were sold from December 2019 to March 2022. Affected panels will have a date code between 200561 and 220233, which can be found on the inside of the door panel.
The company is asking customers to contact them and arrange for a free repair or replacement of the product. However, this is the last thing you should do if you or a loved was harmed from a Square D QO breaker box by Schneider Electric. Instead, explore your legal options with one of our attorneys, including a class action lawsuit for monetary compensation.
