Driver Arrested On Suspicion of DUI In Crash That Injured 2 L.A Sheriff’s Deputies in City of Industry | 11-6-2017
Early Monday morning, two Los Angeles sheriff’s deputies were hospitalized after a driver, suspected to be driving under the influence, crashed into their vehicle in the City of Industry. According to official reports, the collision occurred shortly after 2 a.m. on Colima Road near the intersection of Albatross Road. Based on a report made by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Ruben Macias, two deputies were inside the cruiser when they were T-boned in the intersection. The culprit was driving a white Cadillac. Both law enforcement deputies were taken to a local hospital for treatment, their condition unknown; however, the deputies were later released. The driver was apprehended by authorities on suspicion of DUI following the car collision. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation by local L.A law enforcement officials.
