Breaking News: Woman Injured After Being Hit by LAPD Cruiser on Venice Beach | 9-7-2017

According to reports by the Los Angeles Police Department, a woman was struck by a Los Angeles police cruiser on September 7th, near Windward Avenue and the Venice Beach Boardwalk. The woman was reportedly sunbathing when the car hit her. A police report was filed, and the woman is reported to have suffered minor injuries.

Video footage shot by witnesses at the scene shows the woman being transported to a local hospital with bruises and scratches on her arms and back. According to LAPD officials, she was later released.

The officer who struck the woman is on full active duty in Venice, and it was reported that the incident was dealt with administratively.
