Mother Suffers Fatal Injury in Car Accident, Her 5 Children Injured
Our law firm is currently investigating possible personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits against all responsible parties in connection with an accident that occurred August 1, 2017.
On August 1, 2017, a 28-year-old mother, unfortunately, died on state Highway 12 in the Solano County on Tuesday evening which left her five children seriously injured, but alive, according to the California Highway Patrol. The accident involved a solo vehicle rollover which led to the traumatic events.
Her name was Lydellaricia King of Stockton; she was identified the following day by the coroner. Her sister, Toteeonna King, said that she has no idea why her sister’s car lost control. Toteeonna said that her sister, Lydellaricia, was on her way to Fairfield to “take care of some business” and remembers her sister as responsible, and not the type of person to drink and drive.
Toteeonna said the following about her sister, “She loved her kids. She fought for what she believed in. She loved to dance. She loved to do hair.” She was a full-time mom.
The children between 3 months and 8 years old all suffered major injuries and were taken to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland. They are still in the hospital, but reports say they will be “fine.”
